United States President Joseph Biden and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni held a phone conversation, having affirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine.
The relevant statement was made by the White House, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The leaders affirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine. They also coordinated on preparations ahead of the upcoming NATO Summit and discussed recent developments in North Africa,” the report states.
Additionally, Biden and Meloni discussed the recent events in Russia.
President Biden invited Prime Minister Meloni to visit the White House in July, according to the press release.
