Ukraine will never agree to frozen conflict - President

Ukraine will never agree to any of the options for a frozen conflict.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said this during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada on the occasion of Constitution Day, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Any frozen conflict is a war. A war that will certainly break out. The only question is when. When and how many lives it will take. Therefore, peace must be honest. This is the kind of peace envisioned by the Ukrainian Peace Formula. And that is why it is of universal benefit. Ukraine will never agree to any of the options for a frozen conflict. None of them," Zelensky emphasized.

According to President, Ukraine, on the contrary, will use the Peace Formula to help all other nations of the world who seek real and just peace.

"Russia sees all its neighbors as slaves and enemies. It is obvious that the world is and will be on our side. It is obvious that Ukraine is strengthening and will continue to strengthen all the alliances in which it participates. We have already historically strengthened the European Union. And we have given the European Union such a strength that the EU has never had before," the President added.
