Zelensky: Diplomatic format possible only after reaching 1991 borders

President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasizes that Ukraine will be ready to join a certain diplomatic settlement format only after the Armed Forces of Ukraine reach the internationally recognized borders.
"Ukraine will be ready for one or another format of diplomacy when we are really on our borders, on our real borders in accordance with international law," Zelensky said during a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sánchez in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
As reported, President Zelensky previously stated that the Russian leadership regards any negotiations as an opportunity to gather strength and expand aggression, therefore diplomatic negotiations are impossible as long as Russian troops are on Ukrainian soil.
