Presidential Office tells what Zelensky wants to discuss to Biden in Vilnius

Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podolyak said this on Radio Liberty, Ukrinform reports.

"In addition to NATO, there is also the issue of faster delivery of weapons, and we see that we need additional tools for offensive operations, including an aircraft component and a long-range missile. This is the second issue. The third issue is still the question of Russia's defeat. This is even a philosophical, doctrinal question, why Russia must necessarily defeat, why it is beneficial to the democratic world, what Russia should look like after defeat, and why we should not be afraid of it, and why, in principle, Putin does not control Russia, is not a strong president, and why it is assistance to Ukraine that will accelerate the finalization of Russia's existence as we see it today," Podolyak answered the question of what Zelensky would like to discuss with the U.S. leader.

The advisor to the Office of President also noted that economic support should be among the topics of conversation.

In addition, in his opinion, it is necessary to discuss "what kind of framework of the state of modern Ukraine should exist, taking into account the concept of justice," that is, the work of law enforcement, the judiciary, and the anti-corruption component.

"There are many topics to discuss with the President of the United States," Podolyak emphasized.

He added that many other bilateral meetings may still take place on the sidelines of the NATO Summit, but they are not announced on security issues.

As reported, earlier the White House announced that U.S. President Joe Biden would meet with his counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky during the NATO Summit in Vilnius.
