France to provide Ukraine with additional demining equipment - Zelensky

Volodymyr Zelensky said this following a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Vilnius, Ukrinform reports.

"Meeting with President of France Emmanuel Macron. The main issue was defense. I informed him about the situation on the battlefield. We discussed further defense support. Once again, I am grateful for each piece of weaponry, especially for long-range weapons. There will also be additional engineering equipment for demining," Zelensky said.

As reported, President Emmanuel Macron said on the first day of the NATO summit that France would provide Ukraine with SCALP long-range missiles, which are analogous to the British Storm Shadow.
