Ukrainian arms production should become part of NATO complex - Kuleba
This was stated by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, who spoke at an Instagram stream, Ukrinform reports.
"Everything indicates that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will use NATO-type weapons. When we have aviation, when the F-16s arrive, then the last remaining large ‘non-decommunized’ segment of the Armed Forces will switch to NATO standards. This is an inevitable process," the minister said.
"That's why we need production to become part of this general NATO production complex, that's why we have this initiative – to hold a large Defense Industries Forum in Ukraine," he emphasized.
Kuleba added that preparations for the Forum will be done jointly with the Ministry of Strategy and Industry, Ministry of Defense, and President’s Office, in order to bring together Ukrainian and foreign manufacturers and government officials.
Ukraine needs other governments to make political decisions on cooperation and integration of their defense industries with that of Ukraine, Kuleba stressed.

The minister for foreign affairs added that the forum is set to be held this fall.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine announced the holding of the Defense Industries Forum during a meeting with the heads of Ukraine’s diplomatic missions.
