Ukraine's presidential couple meet with Sweden's royal couple

That's according to the Office of the President of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

The Ukrainian leader expressed his gratitude for Sweden's comprehensive support for our country in the struggle for its independence and territorial integrity.

"We highly appreciate Sweden's powerful assistance in all possible areas. This is a significant contribution to the struggle of Ukrainians for freedom and the European future," Zelensky said.

The president noted Sweden's support for Ukrainian citizens who were forced to seek temporary shelter in this country, escaping Russian aggression. Separately, Zelensky thanked their Royal Highnesses and the Royal Family of Sweden for their great attention to the needs of these people.

Ukraine's presidential couple also talked about the consequences of Russia's war of aggression and separately thanked the Swedish side for the humanitarian assistance provided to the people affected in Ukraine.
