Zelensky: Ukraine not to give up any territories, even in return for joining NATO
The president addressed the issue at a press conference on the sidelines of the Crimea Platform summit, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Exchanging NATO for our lands is a dishonest conversation, it is a dishonest dialogue. This is provocation, be it artificial or not," the president said.
Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine will not give up Kharkiv, Donbas, Pavlohrad, or Dnipro. "And let all the analysts around the world not even count on it," he noted.
He also noted that it is difficult for Ukrainians because they are at war with Russia. "It's just that everyone started to forget ... we relaxed a little, thinking that we had already won. We haven’t won yet. We took the first step – we did not allow our state to be destroyed. And the fact that they are unable to destroy us today – this fact is very important. This is an important victory for both our military and our people. However, it is not a final victory. We must de-occupy all our territories, return all our people and put a full stop or three full stops with such a neighbor. That is why we want to join NATO – that’s not for nothing," concluded the president.
