Slovenia joins G7 declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine

Slovenia has joined the G7 declaration of support for Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on the social platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Ukrinform reports.

“Grateful to the Government of Slovenia and personally to Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob for joining the G7 Declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine. Both our nations share values of freedom and democracy, as well as the desire for peace and justice throughout the Euro-Atlantic area,” he noted.

As reported, the NATO summit was held in Vilnius on July 11-12. The leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) countries agreed on the Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine. Later, a number of other countries joined the declaration, and the list continues to grow.
