Zelensky: We are capable of rebuilding transparent state after war
"It seems to me that we can rebuild a transparent state after the war. I believe it will be so. There will also be internal fluctuations, unfortunately. And I would like to reassure our society: do not forget the priority. We should preserve our advantage over Russia – a strong united society. And I think this is the most important thing. I am sure that a lot of money will come to Ukraine after the victory… from the EU, the USA, and simply from friends. There are investments. Believe me, we are talking with various countries on other continents, large, powerful, independent states. Yes, they are not part of any unions, but nevertheless, they support us today, not very publicly. They will be able to enter the fundamental economic sectors of Ukraine, energy. And these are serious investments," Zelensky told Natalia Mosiychuk in an interview, Ukrinform reports.
The Ukrainian society now needs victories, he added.
"We have been in such a difficult position for a very long time – in the war against Russia or for ourselves. We are definitely against the enemy and society needs real victories that will unite us. And I understand the psychological state. Sometimes there is fatigue, and this is a fact. We are all human. And that's why we need fundamental, sometimes very drastic steps in relation to corruption risks to deal with the priority direction – and this is the battlefield, this is politics, this is the peace formula. That is, de-occupation is both on the battlefield and in political terms. We need to focus on this," the President believes.
Earlier, President Zelenskyy called on Ukrainian ambassadors to work actively towards attracting foreign investments.
