Ukraine’s VR Chairman, President of Czech Chamber of Deputies discuss seizure of Russian assets
The relevant statement was made by Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Stefanchuk thanked the Czech side for providing a platform to hold the Second Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform, as well as comprehensive support for Ukraine from the Czech Republic and its solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
“We discussed important issues. A lot of attention was paid to the situation at the front, the needs of Ukraine’s Security and Defense Forces, the preparation and protection of critical infrastructure. We touched upon the mechanisms to seize the frozen Russian assets and the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia,” Stefanchuk wrote.
Additionally, the parties discussed the situation in Ukraine’s financial sector and its reconstruction efforts.
“And, most importantly, the support of restoring Ukraine’s territorial integrity, as tomorrow’s Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform will be dedicated to this issue,” Stefanchuk added.
