Poland’s Tusk arrives in Kyiv
The Office of the Poland Prime Minister reported this via X, Ukrinform saw.
"Prime Minister Donald Tusk begins his visit to Kyiv, where he will meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal," the posting reads.
As noted, Tusk's visit was announced earlier. It is expected that during his stay in Kyiv, Tusk will discuss, among other things, the issue of border blocking by Polish freight carriers.
Previously, in one of the interviews, Tusk emphasized that both for him and for Poland’s President Andrzej Duda, "the situation in Ukraine and at the front lines is the No. 1 issue for Polish security."
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on January 16, Polish carriers suspended a protest rally at the border with Ukraine, unblocking all crossing checkpoints for Ukrainian trucks.
