Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna has said that a bilateral security cooperation agreement with Ukraine will be signed in the near future.

He said this at a joint briefing with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Kyiv on Monday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"As [NATO] member countries, we must guarantee long-term military commitments to Ukraine. Estonia has decided that it will sign a bilateral agreement with Ukraine very soon," Tsahkna said.

According to him, it will be stated in the document that Estonia will annually allocate 0.25% of its GDP for military support to Ukraine in the coming years.

Ukraine has already signed bilateral security cooperation agreements with 15 countries.
