Macron, Zelensky to discuss Ukraine's needs in Paris
That's according to a statement issued by the press service of the French president, Ukrinform reports.
"Emmanuel Macron will receive his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky at the Elysee Palace on Friday, June 7, to discuss Ukraine's needs," the statement reads.
"As Russian strikes intensify on the front line and against energy infrastructure, the two presidents will discuss the situation on the ground and Ukraine's needs," the statement reads.
On the same day, in the morning, the Ukrainian president will visit the National Assembly - the Parliament of France. There, Zelensky is to deliver a speech before meeting with the President of the Assembly, Yael Braun-Pivet.
Macron announced earlier that Zelensky would visit France to mark the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings (D-Day).
