CinC Sirskyi briefs NATO Military Committee chief on battlefield developments, Army needs

The Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, discussed the situation on the Ukrainian battlefield and the needs of Ukraine’s Defense Forces with the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer.

Syrskyi reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform saw.

"Today, during a call with the head of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, battlefield developments and the needs of our troops were discussed in detail. Having just returned from the combat zone, I personally assessed the situation in various axes and spoke with brigade commanders on the ground," Commander-in-Chief wrote.

He emphasized the importance of having a shared vision of the situation with partners.

Syrskyi thanked NATO for its support and expressed hope for further expansion of cooperation for the sake of global security.

As reported, 66 combat clashes have taken place at the front since day-start as Russian invaders are exploring ways to penetrate the Ukrainian defense lines.
