EU should begin accession talks with Ukraine by end of June - von der Leyen

Ukraine has completed all the reforms and transformations set out by the European Commission in the process of its accession to the EU, so the EU should start membership talks with Ukraine by the end of this month.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said this at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin on Tuesday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"Ukraine has fulfilled all the steps that we had set out. And this is why we believe the EU should begin accession talks with Ukraine already by the end of this month," von der Leyen said.
