Zelensky discusses bilateral cooperation, security challenges with Georgia’s president
That’s according to the Ukrainian president’s Telegram channel.
“During the Global Peace Summit, I met with Georgia’s President Salome Zourabichvili. We discussed bilateral cooperation and security challenges facing our countries. I informed President Zourabichvili about Russian air terror against Ukraine's energy sector. Our country is making every effort to restore energy generation,” Zelensky said.
He thanked Georgian President for her support and participation in the Peace Summit.
“It is very important for us. We are together. I am confident that the day will come when Ukraine and Georgia will be part of the European Union — together and forever,” Zelensky stressed.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the first Peace Summit started today, June 15, in the Swiss resort of Bürgenstock. The summit participants will discuss nuclear security, food security, and the humanitarian dimension - the exchange of prisoners and the return of abducted Ukrainian children. The results of the summit will be shared with Russia.
