Ukrainian president, Lithuanian parliament speaker discuss Ukraine's defense capabilities

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Speaker of Lithuania's Seimas Viktorija Cmilyte-Nielsen have discussed the needs for bolstering Ukraine's defense capabilities.
The head of state announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"We discussed urgent needs for strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities, the results of the first Global Peace Summit, next steps toward a just peace in Ukraine, and cooperation in Ukraine's EU and NATO integration," Zelensky said.

He thanked Lithuania for its significant political support, as well as military and humanitarian assistance provided by Lithuania and its participation in implementing the Peace Formula.
Cmilyte-Nielsen paid an official visit on Tuesday, June 18.
