President: Destruction of launchers near Russian border is important for Kharkiv's security

The destruction of Russian terrorist positions and launchers near the border by our forces, our soldiers, really matters. It is working. Exactly as we expected," the Head of State said.

Following the results of the battles that took place in June in various parts of the frontline, he thanked the soldiers, sergeants and officers of the 1st separate assault battalion, the 5th separate assault brigade, the 25th separate airborne brigade, the 35th, 36th and 38th separate marine brigades.

"Well done, warriors! The 44th Artillery Brigade, the 47th Mechanised Brigade, the 57th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade, the 71st Ranger Brigade, the 82nd Airborne Brigade, the 108th Tank Brigade, and the 110th Separate Mechanised Brigade," Zelensky said.

As reported, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has officially confirmed that President Joe Biden has authorised Ukraine to strike military targets in Russia to defend Kharkiv.
