President appoints ambassadors to Czech Republic and Iraq

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed Vasyl Zvarych as Ukraine's ambassador to Poland and appointed him as head of the diplomatic mission to the Czech Republic.

The relevant decrees were published on the president's website, Ukrinform reports.

"To dismiss Vasyl Zvarych from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland," reads decree No.366/2024.

By Decree No.367/2024, the President appointed Zvarych as Ambassador of Ukraine to the Czech Republic.

Zelensky also appointed Ivan Dovhanych as Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq. Oleksandr Karasevych, who heads the diplomatic mission to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, was appointed as Ukraine's representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons on a part-time basis.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Oleksiy Morozov as head of the State Security Administration of Ukraine.
