Zelensky arrives in Brussels to sign three security agreements

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Brussels to attend a meeting of the European Council and sign three security agreements.

The head of state said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“In the past few days, Ukraine has started actual negotiations on EU membership. Today, I am in Brussels to attend a meeting of the European Council and to thank all European leaders for their unity and for affirming the irreversibility of our European course,” Zelensky noted.

According to the President, the program of the visit includes meetings with the leaders of the EU and its Member States and bilateral talks.

“We will sign three security agreements, including one with the EU as a whole. For the first time, this agreement will enshrine the commitment of all 27 Member States to provide Ukraine with extensive support, regardless of any internal institutional changes,” Zelensky added.

As reported, Ukraine has already signed 17 security agreements, including with all G7 members.
