Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Special Representative of the Chinese Government on European Affairs Wu Hongbo have discussed the issue of restoring a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.
The parties discussed this issue on the sidelines of the Dubrovnik Forum in Croatia, according to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
Kuleba informed Wu about the first Peace Summit, which was held in Switzerland.
"We exchanged views on further efforts to restore a just and lasting peace in Ukraine based on respect for the UN Charter and international law," Kuleba said.
He added that "Ukraine and China will continue dialogue on peace and development."
Kuleba also emphasized the importance of strategically viewing the Ukrainian-Chinese relationship both from a bilateral perspective and through the lens of Ukraine's future membership in the European Union.
