Brink on missile attack on Vilniansk: Russia must be held accountable for these war crimes

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink has expressed her condolences to the residents of Vilniansk, Zaporizhzhia region, after Russia's heinous missile attack.

Brink extended her condolences on the social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.

"We join the people of Vilniansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast in mourning after Russia's heinous, illegal missile attack yesterday. Seven civilians were killed and 36 injured. The U.S. continues to support Ukraine in holding Russia accountable for these war crimes," the U.S. ambassador wrote.

On June 29, seven people were killed, including three children, in an enemy missile attack on Vilniansk.
