Zelensky: 32 countries joined G7 declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this at a press conference on Monday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"This year, after the Vilnius summit, we can note that 32 countries have joined the G7 declaration. These are 32 countries with which we have signed, are in the process of signing or will sign bilateral agreements on our security guarantees. Twenty-three countries have already signed relevant agreements with Ukraine. Everything is there: from money to weapons, from humanitarian aid to reconstruction, cyber security, air defense, etc.," Zelensky said.

He noted that the approximate amount of these agreements is $38 billion.

"I believe that this is a powerful result," Zelensky said.

On July 12, 2023, on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Vilnius, the leaders of the G7 countries agreed on a Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine. The document states, in particular, that the work will be done on specific bilateral long-term commitments and agreements in the field of security.
