President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Roberta Metsola on her re-election as President of the European Parliament.
He announced this on the social network X, Ukrinform reports.

I highly appreciate President Metsola's personal involvement in supporting Ukraine, as well as her unwavering commitment to protecting people and defending our European way of life. As Ukrinform previously reported, on July 16, MEPs re-elected Roberta Metsola for a new term as President of the European Parliament during the first plenary session in Strasbourg after the European elections.
