Monitoring int’l aid: lawmakers find no violations

The results of the probe by the Ukrainian parliament’s ad hoc investigative commission on monitoring the receipt and use of international material and technical assistance.

This is reported by Ukrinform with reference to the Verkhovna Rada Office.

The Commission analyzed all available information, including on legislation, and processed requests from international partners, and held a meeting with foreign partners regarding the international material and technical assistance provided to Ukraine.

People's Deputy Oleksandra Ustinova, who chairs the Commission, emphasized that no violations of the use of aid were detected.

The format and frequency of reporting on the use of the aid provided was agreed with the representatives from partner countries.

"International partners found no violations regarding the use of the aid provided to us and highly appreciated the level of measures to control its receipt, accounting, and utilization," said the Commission chair.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Ukraine is counting on $38 billion worth of international aid until year-end.

Materials marked as "Advertisement" or with a disclaimer reading "The material has been posted in accordance with Part 3 of Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "On Advertising" No. 270/96-VR of July 3, 1996 and the Law of Ukraine "On the Media" No. 2849-Х of March 31, 2023 and on the basis of an agreement/invoice.
