Russia puts another Ukrainian commander on wanted list

Russia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs put on its wanted lits First Deputy Chief of Staff of Ukraine’s Ground Forces Ihor Fedorov.

That’s according to Current Time, Ukrinform reports.

"Wanted under a Criminal Code article," says the entry in the relevant database, with no details provided as to the charges pressed.

A year ago, in June 2023, Russia’s Investigative Committee filed criminal charges against Fedorov in absentia, also without commenting any further. It was mentioned that Fedorov had commanded the defense of one of the parts of Mariupol from December 2014 to January 2015.

As reported, in June, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the former Commander of the Air Assault Forces, Mykhailo Zabrodsky, former Navy chief Serhiy Haiduk, and ex-First Deputy Commander of the National Guard Volodymyr Kondratiuk were declared wanted. As of June, the aggressor state put 28 Ukrainian military commanders on the international wanted list.
