Zelensky: success of Ukraine’s Victory Plan depends on partners

Ukrinform
Ukraine’s Victory Plan is a strategy to strengthen the nation and reinforce its positions to be robust enough to end the war.

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada, as reported by a Ukrinform correspondent.

“Ukraine's Victory Plan is a plan to strengthen our country, to strengthen our positions, so that we are strong enough to end the war, so that Ukraine has all the muscles,” he emphasized.

The President stressed that while the Plan is achievable, its successful implementation relies on international partners.

“It depends on our partners. I emphasize: on partners. It certainly does not depend on Russia,” Zelensky reiterated.

According to Zelensky, the world can see that Russia is not seeking an honest peace, but “together with our partners, we must change the circumstances so that the war ends. Regardless of what Putin wants.”

“We all must change the circumstances so that Russia is forced into peace,” he declared.

Previously, at the ‘Ukraine – Southeast Europe’ summit in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Zelensky stated that the Victory Plan represents both a geopolitical and battlefield strengthening of Ukraine, which must be put in place ahead of any format of dialogue with the aggressor.
