President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of Estonia Kristen Michal discussed the strengthening of Ukraine's positions both on the battlefield and in the diplomatic sphere

Zelensky said this in a post on social media following a meeting with the Estonian prime minister in Kyiv, Ukrinform reports.

“I had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Estonia, Kristen Michal, which marks his first visit to Ukraine. I am grateful to Estonia, the Estonian government, and the entire Estonian people for their steadfast support of our country and our people since the very beginning of the full-scale invasion,” the head of the Ukrainian state noted.

The interlocutors discussed how to strengthen Ukraine’s position both on the battlefield and diplomatically to ensure a just and lasting peace not only for Ukraine but for all of Europe.

“We appreciate Estonia’s clear stance on our future membership in the European Union and NATO and count on the continuation of this support,” Zelensky stressed.

As reported, Friedrich Merz, the leader of the German opposition and candidate for chancellor from the conservative CDU/CSU bloc, arrived in Kyiv on a visit on Monday. President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Germany for its support, which is saving lives in Ukraine.
