Zelensky: EU accession talks slow down due to single country's stance

Ukrinform
President Volodymyr Zelensky said EU accession negotiations slowed down as a result of a single country's position on EU enlargement.

The head of state announced this during a joint press point with Czech President Petr Pavel in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Unfortunately, some negotiations on EU accession have slowed down now, and this is due to the blocking by representatives of a single country of all the work being done by Ukraine and all other European Union member states. We believe the European Union needs more unity, more speed, more opportunities to deliver on what has been promised," Zelensky said.
