NATO Secretary General discusses path to peace with leaders of Ukraine, France, UK

During the Ukraine support summit in Paris, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte coordinated efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine with the leaders of Ukraine, France, and the United Kingdom.

As reported by Ukrinform, Rutte announced the meeting on X.

"Met this morning with UK PM Keir Starmer and then together with French President Emmanuel Macron and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to prepare today’s Paris conference and to coordinate our efforts in support of a just and lasting peace for Ukraine," Rutte wrote.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Coalition of the Willing summit is taking place in Paris today, with its main topic being the continuation of aid to Ukraine and the discussion of the structure of future security guarantees for Ukraine after the end of the war.

The summit is attended by Presidents of Ukraine, France, Lithuania, Finland, Cyprus, the acting president of Romania, German Chancellor, Prime Ministers of the UK, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Spain, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Sweden, Turkey’s vice president, Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission, NATO Secretary General. In addition, Austria, Australia, and Canada are represented at the ambassadorial level.
