Drone production sites will be opened not only in Ukraine. But this is after the war.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a press conference following the summit in support of Ukraine and security in Europe held in Paris, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“It is a very important signal for me that we will open drone production sites not only in Ukraine. But this is after the war, this is a guarantee of the expansion of this technological process,” Zelensky said.

When asked if the President was disappointed that he had not received specific security guarantees, he replied that he had “received things that are very important.”

“I am not disappointed. I got things that are very important to me: a constant number and support for such a number - and this is a costly story. This is our army, and support now, and then, and after the war is over is important. I am very pleased that now and later we will invest with our partners in the Ukrainian production of drones, electronic warfare systems, air defense and other technological things,” the head of state said.

Zelensky noted that he believes that many leaders have their own visions.

“There are leaders who say 'we have no right to forget about NATO'. And here I agree with them because it is the simplest infrastructure, the most understandable and the cheapest. Instead of building a whole infrastructure in Ukraine, there is a clear security infrastructure like NATO that has already been built. But we have what we have,” the President added.

He emphasized that “so far, the issue of NATO is not very active. There are leaders who say that there can be security guarantees similar to what we have. And we believe that Ukraine will propose an algorithm for the dialog. I think it will be in the next 7-10 days with the meeting that President Macron has already announced, and we will have a very friendly, but argumentative discussion on a platform that will be ready. That is, we will propose a basic idea, a basic strategy.”

As Ukrinform reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that France and Germany would represent Europe at the negotiating table.
