International Scientific USERN Congress to be held in Kharkiv on November 8-10

Natalia Kufterina, the Chairperson of the Council of Young Scientists at Kharkiv Regional State Administration, said this at a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The congress is held under the patronage of Chairperson of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Yulia Svitlychna, who is the initiator of its conduction in Kharkiv. The congress participants represent various directions of science, including physics, biology, medicine .The main goal of the congress is the communication of young scientists with the world's leading scientists: Evan Eichler - Professor of Genome Sciences at the University of Washington, Daniel Pauly - biologist who is studying human impacts on global fisheries and is the principal investigator at the Sea Around Us Project (Canada), Marcus Fischer –Professor of Food Chemistry at the University of Hamburg," Kufterina said.

She also added that lectures and discussions with the participation of scientists will take place at four Kharkiv universities: Karazin National University, National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, National University of Pharmacy and National Medical University 

The opening session will be held at Premier Palace Hotel Kharkiv on November 8, the closing session – at Karazin National University on November 10.
