Ukrainian band Brunettes Shoot Blondes wins Best Music Video award at LAFA. Video

The video for song Hips of Ukrainian band Brunettes Shoot Blondes has won in the Best Music Video nomination of the Los Angeles Film Awards.

As band’s frontman Andrii Kovalov told Hromadske, the video was filmed in a pavilion near Kyiv in the decorations that imitated 3D space. The shootings lasted two days, and the necessary preparations lasted several months.

The video for Hips song has also been nominated in The Best Concept category at the Berlin Music Video Awards. On May 23, Brunettes Shoot Blondes will play at the opening ceremony in Berlin.

The Los Angeles Film Awards is a film competition for filmmakers worldwide.

Brunettes Shoot Blondes is a Ukrainian band, founded in the town of Kryvy Rih in 2010. The band performs English-speaking songs in indie, electro and alternative genres.
