Poroshenko commemorates liquidators of Chernobyl disaster

Ecology and Natural Resources Minister Ostap Semerak, Social Policy Minister Andriy Reva and other officials took part in the ceremony on the territory of the exclusion zone and the industrial site of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The Head of State put a basket with flowers in national colors to the monument to the Heroes of Chernobyl located at the nuclear power plant near the power unit, where an explosion occurred in 1986.
