Kherson region expects to receive over 4 mln tourists in summer

This summer, Ukraine’s Kherson region expects to receive more than 4 million tourists.
Deputy Chairman of Kherson Regional State Administration Andriy Balon said this at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"In the current holiday season, we expect to receive at least 4 million tourists. We are making such optimistic forecasts, given the ever-growing influx of tourists arriving in Kherson region," he said.

According to him, last year the region took the 5th place among the regions of Ukraine in terms of tourist fees, which amounted to UAH 2.7 million. This year, the region expects to get the same or more revenues.
In addition, starting from June 15 Bravo Airways performs international flights between Kherson and Lublin twice a week. Also, the flights between Kherson and Kyiv are carried out three times a day.
