Annual festival of Ukrainian culture held in Ottawa

"For the fourth consecutive year, the festival of Ukrainian culture is taking place in Ottawa," reads the statement.

This year, the Embassy of Ukraine in Canada was a co-organizer of the solemn opening ceremony of the festival, which was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, federal ministers and deputies, senators, representatives of local authorities, and the Ukrainian community.

According to the Ukrainian diplomatic mission, in general, the three-day holiday of Ukrainian traditions was visited by over 20,000 guests, who were able to enjoy delicious Ukrainian dishes, Ukrainian dances and songs, as well as to visit the fair.

The embassy also noted that bands from all over Canada and musicians from Ukraine performed at the festival.
