State Bureau of Investigation opens first criminal cases

Investigators from Ukraine's State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) took the oath on Tuesday and opened the first two criminal cases.
SBI Director Roman Truba said this at a press conference on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"SBI investigators took the oath and opened the first two criminal cases today," he said.
Truba clarified that both criminal cases had been instituted under Part 3, Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obtaining an unlawful benefit).
He added that criminal cases had been opened against "current law enforcement officers."
