UA|TV now available in Turkey
The relevant report has been posted on the website of the Ukrainian TV channel.
¨Ukraine’s state international broadcaster, UA|TV, is now available for viewers in Turkey via satellite and cable TV platforms owned by Türksat Company,” reads the report.
It is noted that Türksat Company is one of the region’s leading companies providing all sorts of satellite communications through the satellites of Türksat, as well as other satellites across a wide area extending from Europe to Asia
Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Andrii Sybiha thanked Turkish partners for the opportunity of UA|TV entering the Turkish TV market and expressed “sincere hopes for the implementation of important projects in the information sphere”.
“Delivering true information from Ukraine and about Ukraine to Turkish citizens is one of our priorities, especially in the context of Russian aggression in Eastern Ukraine and annexation of Crimea. The launch of UA|TV on the Türksat cable and IPTV networks is a real breakthrough in the information sphere, which became possible thanks to the joint work of the Embassy, UA|TV Channel and Türksat Company,” the ambassador said.
