The Government of Sri Lanka cancels visa fees for citizens of 48 countries, including Ukraine, starting from August 1.
“Starting from August 1, 2019, the Government of Sri Lanka cancels visa fees for citizens of 48 countries, including Ukraine! Therefore, now a visa (for up to 30 days) will be issued upon arrival free of charge! Earlier, Ukrainians had to pay about $40 for a visa at the airport," Lowcost Avia reports.
As noted, the visa fees were canceled for the next six months, after which the Sri Lankan government would assess the effectiveness of this program.
