International tourism forum kicks off in Lviv

The international tourism forum Win With The Lion has kicked off at Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport, the press service of the Lviv Regional State Administration has reported.

"The most interesting for everyone here today is promoting and developing tourism, and achieving good results in these activities. I want to thank the organizers for continuing the wonderful tradition of the Win With The Lion forum, and I believe that this is one of the leading events in the field of tourism in the region,” said Chairman of the Lviv Regional State Administration Markiyan Malsky when opening the forum.

In particular, he stressed the importance of developing medical tourism in Lviv region.

"One of my priorities is to develop not only traditional tourism, but also medical tourism, and we have all the resources needed for this. These are wonderful castles, balneotherapeutic health resorts, charming Carpathians. I encourage you to invite your friends and partners to discover Lviv and Lviv region. Become ambassadors of the city and the region in your countries and we will meet during the next year, as well as at Win With The Lion next year," Malsky added.

Top speakers from the UK, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Greece and Ukraine will work at the forum.
