Liashko announces mass production of coronavirus tests next week

All laboratories in Ukraine will be provided with domestic coronavirus tests, and the mass production of such tests will begin next week, Deputy Health Minister, Ukraine's Chief Sanitary Doctor Viktor Liashko has said.
"The Health Ministry is working on this issue. A presidential decree stated that funds had to be allocated for the production of test systems. We worked with the Institute of Molecular Biology and other manufacturers. I think we will launch the mass production of tests next week, and domestic tests will be delivered to PCR laboratories," he said at a briefing on Thursday, April 2.
A total of 804 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Ukraine so far. Twenty of them were lethal, whereas 13 people recovered.
