Over 40 medics diagnosed with coronavirus in Ternopil region

The number of health workers diagnosed with coronavirus in Ternopil region has reached 44, the Ternopil headquarters on combating coronavirus has reported on its Facebook page.
"Forty-four medics have already contracted coronavirus in Ternopil region, including five in Monastyryska district, four in Kremenets district, two in Zalishchyky district, one each in Kozivka and Buchach districts," the report reads.
It notes that the infection in one doctor from Ternopil is not associated with professional activities.
The third coronavirus death was recorded in Ternopil region on April 6.
According to the latest data, 160 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed in the region.
