Ukrainian airlines to start operating international flights from June 22
"Ukrainian airlines plan to operate international scheduled flights from June 22," Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii posted on Telegram channel.
He added that Wizz Air Hungary planned to fly from Ukraine to Austria, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Portugal, Denmark, Greece, Lithuania, Slovakia, Estonia, and the United Kingdom from June 16. From June 21, Ryanair plans to start flying from Kyiv to Barcelona, Madrid, and Krakow. The company is currently waiting for the relevant permits.
In general, the following flights are scheduled this week: Lufthansa airlines will operate Frankfurt - Kyiv (B) - Frankfurt flights, KLM will operate Amsterdam - Kyiv (B) - Amsterdam flights, SWISS International Airlines will operate Zurich - Kyiv (B) – Zurich, and Belavia will operate Minsk - Kyiv (B) – Minsk flights.
The minister underscores that before buying a ticket it is necessary to check information on the conditions of entry of Ukrainian citizens to EU countries that have not yet opened their borders to Ukrainians. In this case, foreigners, diplomats, and Ukrainians with work visas or residence permits in the EU, as well as in other cases determined by the country of entry, have the right to enter.
As reported, domestic flights were resumed in Ukraine on June 5. Today, June 15, Ukraine has renewed international flights. The adaptive quarantine is in force in Ukraine until June 22.
