Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry expects visa liberalization with three countries
"Ukraine takes a step towards partners: citizens of Australia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and a number of other countries will be able to travel to Ukraine without visas in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine of 21 July 2020 No. 289," reads the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
In turn, the Ukrainian side expects this step to become a basis for further liberalization of visa procedures for Ukrainian citizens.
This was discussed during the meetings of Acting Director of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Roman Nedilsky with Ambassador of Australia to Ukraine Melissa O’Rourke, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Ukraine Rashed Hammad Al-Adwani, and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Ukraine Mohammed Al-Mussher.
From August 1, Ukraine launches a visa-free regime for citizens of Australia, New Zealand, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with 90 days of permitted duration of stay in 180-day period.
