Ukraine’s Border Guard Service unveils list of documents required for travel to Turkey

Ukrinform
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has informed what documents, in addition to a passport, are required for a trip to Turkey.

To travel to Turkey, one needs to have a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad or an ID-card of a citizen of Ukraine.

In addition, a certificate of insurance is needed (from July 1, entry is allowed only if a tourist has a certificate of insurance for COVID-19, which can be purchased online, from a tour operator, when buying tickets, and directly at the Turkish airport upon arrival).

Also, at the border, a medical examination is provided at the medical control point to detect possible coronavirus infection. If symptoms are detected, a PCR test is carried out free of charge.

As Ukrinform reported, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine expanded the list of "red zone" countries due to the unfavorable situation with COVID-19. The list includes 127 countries.

Turkey is in the "green zone". This is the most popular tourist destination for Ukrainians.
