A regular meeting of the Coordination Council of Ukrainian Diaspora organizations at the Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia took place in Riga on November 6.
Participants of the meeting discussed topical issues and upcoming events of the Ukrainian community such as cooperation as part of cultural and humanitarian projects, short- and long-term planning of community work, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The Coordination Council considered the Ukrainian program for the International Documentary Film Festival Artdocfest, which will be held in Riga, and plans for the arrangement of the Ukrainian Square in the Latvian capital.
Ambassador of Ukraine to Latvia Oleksandr Mishchenko also informed about the latest activities of the Ukrainian community in Latvia.
