Belarusian special services plotted Sheremet's murder in 2012 – Ukrayinska Pravda

The Belarusian special services discussed in 2012 the possibility of killing journalist Pavlo Sheremet using an explosive, according to the Ukrayinska Pravda online news site.
Ukrayinska Pravda received an audio recording of the conversations of Vadim Zaitsev, the chairman of the State Security Committee of Belarus in 2008-2012, from the Belarusian opposition.
The murder of Pavlo Sheremet, who lived and worked in Russia at the time, is discussed in the recording.
Sheremet was killed in a car explosion in Kyiv on July 20, 2016.
