Vaccination rates in Ukraine will accelerate in June - Liashko
Ukrinform
The pace of vaccination against COVID-19 in Ukraine depends on the number of vaccines available and should significantly accelerate next month, Ukrainian Health Minister Viktor Liashko has said in an interview with the TSN news program.
"Now there is not enough vaccine to fully load all the available platforms. There are now one and a half million doses of CoronaVac vaccine in Ukraine. Half a million Pfizer vaccines have arrived, and half a million are arriving. We will also receive half a million [vaccines] within COVAX in a week – on June 7. Documents for the supply of AstraZeneca vaccine are already being drawn up," he said.
At the same time, he added that vaccination rates would accelerate significantly in June.

"We should have the first such start in June, when a large number of vaccines will be on Ukrainian territory at the same time. This will help increase the pace of vaccination," Liashko said.
