On June 23, the average daily air temperature in Kyiv was +27.0 °C. Thus, June 23 repeated the temperature record set for this day in 1954.
The maximum air temperature in the afternoon in the capital rose to +33.7 °С, exceeding the previous record set for this day in 1946 by 0.6 °С.
